Piaroa Warime Ritual Peccary Mask from the Middle Orinoco Basin in Venezuela, circa 1970–2000, crafted of woven split cane and palm fibre with a black beeswax and vegetal pitch ground and white kaolin spiral motif, featuring a conical form with an upturned collar and a palm-fibre mantle, 85 cm high, 23 cm wide, and 300 g, in good condition with no stand and provenance from a German private collection (field-collected 1991). Material: Woven split cane, palm fiber. Condition: Good condition - used with small signs of aging & blemishes.
