What you will find here
This section is mostly original work by living artists: acrylic and oil paintings, mixed media, digital painting, sculpture in bronze and resin, and street and pop art. Most pieces are listed as Original and Hand signed; a smaller share are Limited edition works such as giclée prints or collectable figures. Most pieces here are between €800 and €7,200.
How to read a listing
- Technique tells you the medium: acrylic painting, oil painting, mixed media, giclée and so on. A giclée is an inkjet print, not a painting.
- Edition separates one-of-a-kind originals from editioned works. An edition number such as 188/250 means 250 copies were made.
- Signature shows whether the work is hand signed, plate signed or unsigned.
- Height and width are the size of the work in centimetres. Titles marked XL or XXL are large formats, often 100 cm or more on one side.
Before you buy
Measure the wall and check the height and width against it; large canvases are easy to underestimate from a photo. Check whether the work arrives framed or as a stretched canvas, and look at every photo for the edges and the back. Condition is usually described as Excellent or Good condition; read the description for any marks or retouching. Colours on screen can differ from the real paint, especially with metallic or fluorescent pigments.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between an original and a limited edition?
An original is a single, unique work made by the artist, such as a painting on canvas. A limited edition is one of a fixed number of copies, usually a print or cast, numbered like 25/100. Editions are typically less expensive than originals by the same artist. Each listing on this page states which one you are looking at under Edition.
Are the paintings sent framed?
It depends on the piece. Many contemporary works are painted on a stretched canvas and can hang without a frame, while works on paper are often sent unframed or in a simple frame. The description and photos show how the work will arrive. If a listing does not make it clear, ask us before ordering.
What does XL or XXL mean in a title?
Artists use XL and XXL to flag large formats. In this section that usually means a work of around 100 cm or more on its longest side. Always check the height and width listed on the product page, because the labels are not a fixed standard and vary from artist to artist.
