Handcrafted maki-e lacquer flower vase with a wooden core by Japanese artist Akashi, featuring a square waisted profile, black glassy finish, dandelion motif, and dimensions H 27.5 cm, top opening 6 cm, body diameter 7.5 cm, depth 12.5 cm, dating to about the 1940s–1950s, in good condition with small signs of aging, plus original paulownia storage box and artist seal at the base. Condition: Good condition - used with small signs of aging & blemishes.
