Living National Treasure Shimizu Uichi, a stoneware mizusashi water jar made at the Horai kiln beside Lake Biwa in Japan, dating to the 1950s–1990s, 18 cm wide, 17.5 cm deep and 17 cm high, finished with a dripping iron-glaze ash glaze showing grey, blue-grey and warm rust tones, and including the artist’s tomobako storage box. Condition: Excellent condition: barely used with minimal signs of wear.
