Set of two Japanese lacquer natsume with gold maki-e decoration, in black ground with item 1 in Kodaiji maki-e style and item 2 in Kyo-nuri with autumn maple leaf design, each 7 cm high, 6.5 cm wide, 6.5 cm deep, weighing 47–48 g, supplied with original tomobako boxes, item 2 by Kitamura Kishun, origin Japan, in good condition with light signs of ageing.
