A high-ranking Edo-period Japanese lacquered leather jingasa (Nirayama/Nirayamagasa) of 55 cm long and 27 cm high, richly decorated in gold and kamon with two identical red shu-urushi interiors, dating to 1850–1900 and produced as a reproduction with no certificate of authenticity. Condition: Good condition, used with some signs of wear.
