A RUBY-GROUND PAINTED ENAMEL BARBER'S JUG Qianlong The body moulded in the shape of a nautilus conch rising to a flared rim, above a knopped spreading foot, a handle connecting the body to the rim, decorated overall in bright enamel with shaped panels enclosing floral designs against a ruby-red scrolling ground, the globular knop to the foot with quatrefoil panels enclosing Buddhist lions and butterflies. 26cm (10 1/4in) high.
