A PAIR OF GILT-EMBELLISHED COLD-PAINTED PLASTER FIGURES Qing Dynasty, circa 1800 The two figures well-modelled to depict a lady and a gentleman each standing in flowing robes with a separately modelled head which slots into the aperture of the neck to nod freely, the gentleman dressed in dragon robes and a Manchu hat, the lady wearing a blue-ground robe and carrying a fan in one hand. 24cm (9 1/2in) high.
